Podcast — Chicago Public Schools Alumni PAC

Okay, full disclosure: election laws have gone way too far. The Chicago Public Schools Alumni PAC is technically a registered 501(c)(7), a 501(c)(6), AND a 501(c)(4) all at the exact same time. But then we also have a public charity were we can shelter our taxable income. That is if we had any beyound the lunch money. And its all legal! Google it. It’s true.

But plot twist: we are literally just a bunch of 8th graders. We can’t even vote yet. We barely have our own Ventra cards.

We’re gonna grow up someday, and we really hope we graduate into a world where people realize all this political separation is doing too much. People vote. Normal human people shouldn't have to hide behind weird legal "entities" just to care about their schools.

We hope the rules change before we reach high school. But honestly? They probably won't. Anyway, enjoy the debate.
